World War II

Several years ago, I gave up touring as a musician and started writing. In 2015, I published Onto the Black Shores of Hell: The Battle for Iwo Jima, and in 2020 I contributed to Wheeler and Gagnon's The Marine Corps War Memorial the United States Flag Raising of Iwo Jima: Our Dads, Our Heroes. I am currently researching the battle for Tarawa and writing my next book.
